You need to take these small steps each day so your body can fight better when needed! Adding Turmeric to your diet is one such step. Its ancient, its proven and its magical! It has lot of benefits that makes it perfect choice when it comes to improving immunity! Its anti inflammatory, improves digestion and helps you get good sleep as well.
I ain’t doctor or nutritionist but one thing that has helped me over time to fight cold and cough is Haldi doodh aka Turmeric Latte. My mom gave me glassful when I was younger, since then it has been my favorite beverage ever! To me its delicious and comforting.

Turmeric comes in different forms and each one has its own set of benefits. Now its up to you which one suits your needs but its gonna be all useful when taken regularly and moderately. Adding turmeric powder to your everyday meals, or taking a spoonful with Honey in the morning improves digestion and also helps clear throat pain if any. Apart from that I recently discovered Turmeric root which is ginger look alike but bright orange when peeled. I grate it to my ginger tea in the morning sometimes. I would recommend using organic one as its  a root and grows under soil which absorbs pesticides if used any.
Keeping best for the last, Turmeric Milk - made either using turmeric powder or grated turmeric with milk.
