2 cups boiled chickpeas (strained)
2 tbsp Tahini paste
1 whole lemon juice
3-4 garlic cloves
2 tsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
2-3 tbsp water


  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and grind until smooth paste like texture.
  2. Add water as needed and scrape the sides in between.
  3. If you like coarse chunky texture, grind less.

This is classic recipe, you can add different flavors to it like boiled beetroot, mint etc. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
