Wish you a very happy Independence day to all those who are celebrating! On this special occasion I would like to give you guys a special Tri-color treat and dedicate this blog to the symbol of Courage,Peace and Prosperity (auspiciousness of land)!
I am sure you might have already planned your holiday and are ready to splurge and indulge into some great food. Of course you should celebrate this holiday with your family and friends and definitely should have some great food. However why not give it a healthy twist by simply replacing few beverage you will usually have through out the day. I think lets give it a try!
When we usually hear the word healthy beverage (juices being the common) we usually get feeling of boredom, we think how could it be healthy and tasty at the same time?? Not everyone but most people are reluctant towards having healthy beverages. Also the myth that juices are not so healthy and loaded with sugar all the time creates a conundrum and people become even more reluctant.
Some kind of vegetable juice or fruit juice is always treated as patient food. However its not case anymore! These days most of us are adapting healthy lifestyle and truly amazed by the results.
Juicing is a great way to get a huge dose of plant-based nutrients packed in a single glass. Also When you juice at home, it not only cost you less than the juice bar but also controls what goes into the juicer, and your body.
So what are we going to make today? Today I am going to share 2 juices and 1 drink that will replace 3 beverages (morning, afternoon and night) from you day! All these juices are not only healthy but also packed with flavors.
So lets begin:
If you are morning tea or coffee (or green Tea) person or none of this, my Carrot, orange and apple juice is for you!
Blend: 1 peeled carrot 1 peeled orange 1/2 cup of apple juice and tiny inch of ginger 1 Tsp Honey (only if needed)
You can also add few ice cubes if you like to have it chilled. Goes nice with your breakfast too!
Now its hot afternoon and you just had your scrumptious lunch, If you usually have some diet coke, nimbu Pani or again one more cup of tea or coffee this afternoon, here you can replace that with this one!
Mix: 1/2 cup whole milk yogurt (whisk it first) 1-2 cup of water 1/2 Tsp salt 1/2 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp Jaljeera Powder (optional) 1/2 tsp Finely chopped coriander (optional)
This is commonly known as Buttermilk and its great for digestion and is rich in antioxidants.
Here comes the night time! Few people like to have milk before going to bed. today add this magic drink to you night routine!
