Are you craving for a Dessert?

Sometimes in your life your meal or dessert is crafted and planned so well that it is no short than a genius. I had one of those experience. Yesterday after long Monday at office while I was craving to have something sweet (and not to mention I like treating myself once in a while), I came across this café right in the heart of the city of San Diego. “Café 21” place well known for its dessert and brunch menu! Definitely it was not brunch time so I decided to just try their dessert menu! Well its bit weird, stopping by a restaurant to have just a dessert, but who cares? Right! I stepped into this place with lot of curiosity as the ambiance was really pleasant and soothing. They let you choose the table so I was already impressed! I was able to grab the perfect table next to the window! After having a conversation with my server Benjamin I ordered Chocolate crepe cake which is one of the popular dessert they serve. My chocolate crepe cake was literally a piece of art! Just right in amount, texture and taste. Not too sweet and very well balanced. The dark chocolate truffle balls on the top are definitely my favorite now! Perfect piece of sweet to satiate your craving! Very friendly staff and quick service added to my positive experience at this place.  If you are ready to splurge a bit this is perfect place for you! It is busy all day and also have live music during dinner time! It surely has a very cozy and vintage vibe and that makes your whole dining experience even more happening! Café is mostly known for their “Tiramisu Pancake” which is served at brunch only! So I missed it this time but no worries as I was certainly happy with my crepe cake. Apart from this they also serve delicious cast iron omelet, sandwiches and mimosa!

I am rating it 4.8 and will surely visit on a weekend to try their famous brunch menu!
